Dr Tay Koong Jiunn
Dr. Tay received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Master of Dental Surgery (Prosthodontics) from the National University of Singapore. He has also been conferred Membership in Prosthodontics by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. Dr. Tay has more than 10 years of clinical experience in public hospitals (National University Hospital, National Dental Centre Singapore) and private practice.
He is trained to diagnose and treat patients with challenging prosthodontic problems, using fixed and removable prostheses and dental implants. His clinical interests include full mouth rehabilitation, restorative and implant dentistry, and dentures. He strives to make every dental visit a pleasant and painless experience!
Dr. Tay was previously Head of the Specialist Dental Centre of the Singapore Armed Forces, managing military primary and specialist clinic operations. Currently, Dr. Tay is a part-time tutor at the Faculty of Dentistry. He is involved in the undergraduate clinical curriculums. Dr. Tay continues to pursue his interest in scientific research. He has presented his research at both local and international conferences. His research areas include temporomandibular joint disorders, bruxism, dental trauma, and oral health-related quality of life.
