Dr Adrian Shi
Dr. Adrian Shi is a MOH accredited Dental Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
Dr. Shi received his Master of Dental Surgery (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore (NUS). He has an outstanding academic record, placed on the Dean’s Lists, and was awarded the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Book Prize. Dr. Shi was awarded a scholarship from the National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) for his specialist training. He was also admitted as a Fellow of the prestigious Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
Dr. Shi was a Consultant at NDCS, SingHealth, and served as the Chairman of several committees. He was also a clinical teacher in NUS and a clinical instructor in Duke-NUS Medical School. Dr. Shi received the Target Zero Harm Award for improving patient safety and the Singhealth 10-year Long Service Award. His professional interests include oral surgery, dental implants, and jaw surgery. Dr. Shi published many scientific papers and spoke at several international conferences. He also received several publication awards in NDCS.
Dr Shi is a passionate advocate for the dental profession. He served as the President of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Singapore and is a Senior Mediator of the Singapore Dental Association.
Dr. Adrian Shi is known for his approachable and pleasant personality. He received many service awards for exceptional patient care—the Singapore Health Quality Service Award, the NDCS Smile Award, and the One CGH Cares Award. He volunteers in the grassroots and serves as a Senior Naval Dental Officer. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending time with his young children.
