Dr. Dinesh is a consultant endocrinologist and the medical director of The Metabolic Clinic. He graduated with honors from Monash University of Melbourne in 2009, receiving the Prince Henry’s Prize in Surgery, and was runner-up in the Bryan Hudson Prize in Medicine. During his endocrinology training in Melbourne, he won the top registrar award at the Endocrine Society of Australia Clinical Weekend in 2016, followed by securing a place in sub-specialist training at Australia’s only andrology fellowship in 2017 with Monash Health.
Upon returning to Singapore, he was the sub-specialty lead for adrenal, pituitary, and bone services at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

He established the Metabolic Bone Clinic, which leads bone health initiatives at the hospital. A passionate educator, he served as Associate Program Director for Endocrinology at NHG, training the next generation of endocrinologists, and received the NHG Teaching Award for Senior Doctors in 2023. As a researcher, he conducted research in the realm of dysglycemia (pre-diabetes) and its role in cardiovascular disease, which has driven his passion for intervening early in metabolic syndrome. He has also contributed to local literature with guidelines in our local journals.

An expert endocrinologist with proficiency in both general and specialty endocrinology, he has an interest in longevity through improving cardiovascular risk, metabolism, bone health, and muscle loss prevention with the ultimate aim of improving the number of years we spend as healthy individuals. Through his sub-specialist training in male health (andrology), he is also an expert in testosterone-related disorders. A firm believer in staying active, Dr. Dinesh works out daily, has run multiple marathons, and has completed a solo HYROX race. His practice involves a multi-modal approach where exercise, diet, and pharmacotherapy merge to produce the best results in his patients. His patients pride themselves on getting a thorough explanation of their medical condition and sound advice on how to take their health to the next level.
